Acceptable Use Policy

What this covers (plain language) Play fair, be honest, respect people. Don't fake bookings, venues or reviews, and don't try to break or scrape the system. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Everyone must not

1. Give false identity, venue or payment information, or impersonate anyone.
2. Make fake, speculative or bulk bookings, or hold slots you don't intend to use.
3. Upload fake or edited proofs of payment.
4. Ask for or make payments outside the payment details shown in Tarakits for a Tarakits booking.
5. Harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse players, staff or venue owners.
6. Post content that is false, defamatory, obscene, hateful, infringes someone's rights, or shares another person's personal data without their consent.
7. Scrape, copy or bulk-download data, bypass security or rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with the Service.
8. Use the Service for anything illegal, including gambling, money laundering or selling prohibited goods or services.

Reviews

• Only from a real, completed booking; about your own experience.
• No paid, swapped or incentivised reviews; venues and their staff must not review their own venue or competitors.

Venues must also not

• List resources they don't control, or photos that aren't of the actual venue.
• Take payment for a booking and then not honour or refund it.
• Store sensitive or discriminatory remarks in customer or reservation notes.

Reporting and takedown

• Use Report on a venue, review or booking, or email [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Rights holders can send IP complaints to [LEGAL EMAIL] with the work, the infringing item and their contact details.
• We acknowledge reports within [2] business days. We may hide content or suspend a listing while we review, tell the affected user the reason, and let them respond.
• We act on orders from the DTI (including takedown orders under RA 11967), courts and other authorities.

Consequences

Warning, content removal, booking limits, suspension or permanent ban, depending on severity. For venues, the strike policy in the Venue Terms applies.
